Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering: Department of Computer Technology presents COMPUFEST 2012 : A National Level Technical Symposium on 1st & 2nd March 2012.
Details:
Projectivity is the national level project competition. It explores the creative mind which manifest itself in your project. Participants are required to give a demo of their project.
Venue:
1) Date:- 01/03/2012.
2) Time:- 10AM Onwards.
3) Entry Fees- 400/- per group.
4) Total Prize:- 25,000/-.
5) Venue:- C-Tech Dept, YCCE.
Rules:
1)The project should br software based i.e. atleast 30% software part.
2) Four participants in a group(at max).
3) The last date of submitting synopsis is 25th feb along with software and hardware requirement.
PIRATE’S PARK
Details:
The core of this event is logical analysis and decompilation. Participants will be provided with excecutabllle file, they will traverse through the UI, understand the basic functionality, and try to implement the same in C/C++. The event will have three or rounds levels(Basic,Intermediate,advanced).
Venue:
1) Date:- 01/03/2012.
2) Time:- 9PM to 6AM.
3) Entry Fees- 150/- per group.
4) Total Prize:- 15,000/-.
5) Venue:- C-Tech Dept, YCCE.
Rules:
1) only TURBO compiler is allowed.
2) Any two reference book is allowed, they must be brought by participants themselves. Two participants in a group(at max).
3) We encourage the add-on features devp, participants will be awarded extra points for add-ons.
WEBSTER
Details:
A Webster is a web site designing competition of 5 hours with all required software provided to every participant. Show your web designing talent and win the exciting prizes…

HEXNET
Details:
There will be 2 rounds. The 1st round is of multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) round, in which there will be 50 questions. Participants will have 1 hour to solve it. In 2nd round participants have to perform 1 µP program on µP8085 kit within 30 min.

3) Entry Fees- 50/- per group.
4) Total Prize:- 6,000/-.

Rules:
1) There will be maximum 2 people in each team.
2) Participants are advised to be present a few minutes before the schedule to avoid any unpredictable delay.
3) If the Participants are not present at the notification schedule, they will be disqualified.

will have to hack the system connected in a network; the file will be
protected with passwords and locks. The one who will find it first will
be the winner. The time limit will be of 1 hr.

ARMAGGEDON
Details:
The
tournament will be a knock-out. Each team will consist of 5 members.
The team which wins its 1st stage match advances to the next stage. The
knock out continues till we get final 4 top scoring teams for the semi
finals. There will not be any match played for the third spot.

Players must be present in the tournament area with the whole team at
the notifications schedule. Players are advised to be present a few
minutes before the schedule to avoid any unpredictable delay. If the
team is not present at the notification schedule, they shall be
disqualified.
2) Teams will be given 5 minutes to configure
their settings and after that use of console or change in settings will
be strictly prohibited.
3) A toss will be done to decide the side team wants to take.
4) For CS players have the freedom to bring and use their own controlling device, that is, mouse (USB only).

SNAP IT UP
Details:
A
Photography Competition wherein the participants will be allotted
respective time slots to explore the whole of YCCE Campus and click the
best of snaps. It will be a 2-day two level event with a Prize
Distribution Ceremony and a Grand Exhibition of the Winner Photographs
on the Final Day.
